OVERVIEW: Drupal is a powerful content management system which allows you to create and maintain dynamic websites without having to know complicated coding languages.  In this half-day workshop, participants will have hands-on experience to learn the basics of using Drupal to manage web content. Topics include: General Introduction to Drupal (what is a CMS?), Drupal Terminology, Creating Content, Inserting Images with IMCE, Inserting Links, Uploading Files, Inputting Formats, Publishing Options/Workflow, Reviewing Content Types (story, book, blog), Editing Content Dashboard, and Communicating with your Drupal site developers. This session is targeted to those assigned to editing and maintaining informational content on launched or ready to launch Drupal sites.  At the end of this session, participants will have the knowledge to add, manage, and edit content on their Drupal websites.  Especially valuable for those assigned to editing and maintaining informational content on launched or ready to launch Drupal sites.
