The Climate History of Mars: A Geological Perspective

Recent new insights into the climate-related surface geology of Mars, together with major advances in Mars global climate models, have provided unique insights into the climate of Mars over 4 billion years of its history. These new insights show pathways of how Mars might have evolved from "warm and wet" conditions in its early history to the hyperarid, hypothermal conditions of today.
