With the risk of Spring floods upon us, your safety and well-being are of utmost concern to UCAR. In the event of an emergency, it may be critical for you to receive UCAR notifications quickly. Today, your mobile device is your most effective notification tool. With this in mind, UCAR has enhanced its traditional Emergency Notification System (ENS) to add mobile and home notification capability using Everbridge ENS services. Everbridge is one of the leading providers of ENS services, used by some of the world’s largest corporations and government institutions. To take advantage of UCAR’s new enhanced ENS features and receive mobile and home notifications, follow the instructions below and register for or update your UCAR ENS profile today.How to Register for Your New UCAR ENS Account Today!
If you haven’t registered for a UCAR ENS account yet, sign up by visiting www2.ucar.edu/emergency-ens and clicking on <Request a new invitation to register>. You will receive a personalized invitation from <Christy Fletcher firstname.lastname@example.org> containing an important link. Follow the link in the invitation email to register. Then select your desired notification methods and provide contact information in your profile. Note: You cannot forward your invitation’s personalized registration link to others. They must go to the ENS website and request their own personalized invitation to register.
Later this month we will be automatically sending out email invitations to all employees that have not yet registered. Beat the rush and avoid the emails, go to the UCAR ENS website and register today!Already Registered? - Update Your Account Profile Today!
If you are already registered, you can now add both personal mobile phone and text numbers in addition to UCAR mobile phone & text numbers to your account profile. Go to www2.ucar.edu/emergency-ens and click on <Already Registered?> to add this new information and update your other notification selections and profile information. If you’ve forgotten your password or username, follow the links provided.
