Users of both Office 2003 and Office 2007 will benefit from this class. What are some of the best applications for Excel formulas/functions? Date & time, mathematical, text, database, financial, informational, statistical, logic, lookup, reference functions, and nesting IF statements.

Participants will review safe work methods required for employees who enter confined spaces, understand the hazards, how to control the hazards and how to keep watch over employees working in these spaces.

These hazardous locations are called Confined Spaces. Specialized work procedures and precautions are required when we humans must work in these areas. This class prepares supervisors to correctly identify hazards of the confined space and what control measures are required to work in the space. The class also prepares individuals to properly monitor the air in a confined space using an air monitor. 

LOCKOUT/TAGOUTMarch 4, 20142:30 pm – 3:30 pm; ML Chapman RoomFacilitator:  Milenda PowersAvoid electrocution of yourself and others by learning how to deactivate energy systems. Recognize dangers and hazards of stored energies. Control hazards by disconnecting and blocking the energy path and perform a lock out/ tag out operation. An audit of lock-out/tag-out skills is conducted yearly.

Hot operations refer to work that involves open flames, torches and welding. The Safety policy and permit requirements for this work will be reviewed during this brief class
