Workshop on pattern scaling and its application to the new scenario process

This workshop will be held on April 23-25 at the National Center for Atmospheric Research and will bring together statistical, climate, integrated assessment and impact modeling communities.

This workshop will have three main goals:

  1. Assess the current state of pattern scaling science
  2. Assess to what extent current approaches to pattern scaling can meet the needs of integrated assessment and impact modelers for climate change information
  3. Identify and prioritize research directions so that pattern scaling can better meet the needs of applied research in the future

Interested in participating? Due to space limitations we are asking people to request participation and/or submit an abstract.

The submission deadline is January 15, 2014.
