NCAR Community Art Program Exhibits

NCAR Community Art Program proudly presents two artists:

Plein air Landscapes by Lamya Deeb

Lamya Deeb is a dedicated plein air artist, working directly from life in the mediums of oil and pastel. She aims to capture a special moment of experience in nature and to give a glimpse of unexpected beauty, briefly encountered. She has received numerous awards for her plein air work, including Best of Show at the 2013 Plein Air Artists Colorado 17th Annual National Juried Show. Deeb's work will be on exhibit in the Mesa Lab Gallery I.

The Circle Limit Design Series, Art by Ben Van Dusen

As a physicist and educator, Ben Van Dusen, has found the blending of the visual arts and the sciences as an effective tool for allowing people to connect with the wonders of nature. Van Dusen uses digital techniques to create infinite tessellations of visually striking images of fractals in nature and transforms them into a subtle circle. Van Dusen's work will be on exhibit in the Mesa Lab Gallery II.

Come and be inspired by their beautiful artwork!
