EOD Classes, Seminars, and Workshops for the month of December, 2013

Below is a listing of the classes, seminars, and workshops offered for the month of December, 2013.

NCAR PandA TRAINING SESSION - December 5, 2013, 12:30pm-4:00pm; FL2-1001

Participants will learn UCAR business processes and employee legal responsibilities related to award management, accounting, and budgeting and proposal processes along with use of the Proposal and Award (PandA) system to create and route proposals.  Instructors: Kelly Smith, UCP Budget Office; Gina Taberski, UCAR Contracts; Anita Monk-Ryan, UCAR Finance.

FIRE EXTINGUISHER TRAINING - December 5, 2013. 10:00am - 12:00pm; FL2-1002

Learn the proper use of fire extinguisher equipment and what type of equipment should be used to extinguish different types of fires.  Use different types of fire extinguishers and test abilities to extinguish an actual controlled fire in the parking lot.

CPR CERTIFICATION & FIRST AID TRAINING (Field Campaign & Facilities Staff Only) - December 5, 2013, 1:00pm - 4:30pm; FL2-1002

Review and practice basic CPR techniques and first aid skills and how to use them in real life emergency situations.  Participants will learn how to provide emergency care until 911 Emergency Medical Services arrive.  Completion of this workshop meets both certification and recertification requirements.

UCP PandA TRAINING - December 6, 2013, 1:00pm - 3:00pm; FLA-2111

PRIVACY PROTECTION SEMINAR - December 10, 2013, 12:00pm - 1:30pm; FL2-1001, Facilitator: Elevations Credit Union

Please join us as the Boulder Country District Attorney's Office leads us through an exploratioin of protecting your privacy and avoiding identity theft.  The mission is to reach community members through education and to make sure the public is kept up to date with the type of crime we are seeing in Boulder County.  Please plan to attend as our speakers will arm you with the tools to protect yourself and prevent you from being a victim of this type of crime.  light refreshments provided by Elevations Credit Union.
