We are at day 4 of our Employee Engagement Survey and if you haven't had the chance to complete the survey yet, you will get another invitation today from "Newmeasures firstname.lastname@example.org". The subject line will be "Reminder - Employee Survey Invitation from Tom Bogdan". The survey is just 27 multiple-choice questions and should take 5-10 minutes. If you don’t receive it in your in-box, please check your spam filter.
The Employee Engagement Project is a result of discussions between the President's Council, the UMC Working Group 6 on the Workplace, the Ombuds, and UMC members. Our goal is to open communication channels with staff and take action to ensure that we engage, support, retain and value our staff. We commissioned organizational development experts, Newmeasures Inc., to partner with us to measure, analyze and act to increase employee engagement.
This brief confidential survey is the first step in that process, it will help all of us learn more about our engagement with our work and managers and our strategic alignment. With your participation, this brief confidential survey will help us learn more about our engagement with our work and managers and our strategic alignment.
In October, we’ll analyze and report out on the data and use it to compare ourselves with other institutions. The report will identify the drivers with the most powerful statistical linkage to overall organizational effectiveness and include recommendations on best practice action steps that lead to leadership and organization improvement and success. In the following months, together, we will develop our plans and take action to improve how we support, retain, and value our staff. Thanks in advance for your participation in the survey and teamwork, we couldn’t do this without you.
If you don’t receive the invitation, please let me know and we’ll ask Newmeasures to resend the invitation and troubleshoot the problem with you. Thanks again.
