UForum at UCAR Kicks Off Webinar Series

As many of you know, the first report in the next series of assessments by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change will be released later this month to the international community. The new IPCC reports provide an excellent opportunity for conversations with family, neighbors, colleagues, and local policy makers about the basic science of climate change. As a helpful prelude to those conversations, UForum at UCAR will be offering two webinars from well-known leaders in the field of climate science and communication next week:

Topic:  Inside the IPCC Climate Science Assessments: From 1990 to 2013
Presenter: Gerald "Jerry" Meehl (NCAR senior scientist and IPCC scientist)
Date:  September 17, 2013; Tuesday
Time: 10:00 am – 11:00 am (MDT)
Topic: Communicating Climate Change in the U.S
Presenter: Anthony Leiserowitz (Director, Yale Project on Climate Change Communications)
Date:  September 19, 2013; Thursday
Time:   10:00 am – 11 am (MDT)
