Library Blog: NCAR First Stop on the "Science Matters Roadtrip"

The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) has been identified as one of the nation’s most effective environmental action organizations. They use law, science and the support of their 1.4 million members to protect the planet's wildlife and wild places and to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all living things. Recently their Global Leadership Council toured several national laboratories, NCAR, being the first stop. Their intent was to hear first hand from scientists and researchers the confirmation of the current environmental challenges and how they are discovering and implementing “next generation” solutions. Read highlights of their time here at NCAR, the people they met and the programs they learned about as they participated in the “Science Matters Roadtrip”.
