The next tutorial for users of the Weather Research and Forecasting model (WRF) will take place at NCAR on July 15–26. The tutorial will be divided into 4 sessions: Basic WRF (15-19 July), WRF-Chem (22-23 July), WRF Data Assimilation (24-26 July), and WRF Regional Climate (26 July) . Basic knowledge of atmospheric science and numerical modeling, as well as working in a Unix computer environment, is required. All participants are strongly encouraged to work through one or more of the online tutorials for WRF-ARW, and WRFDA, depending on interest, in advance. Register early, as registration always exceeds capacity.
