Atmospheric themed Artwork on Display at the Mesa Lab

NCAR's Community Art Program announces the exhibition of large oil and acrylic paintings by Jane Whittlesey on display in Gallery II of the Mesa Lab during April and May. The artist addresses contemporary themes of outer space and earthly delights with artwork that is colorful and wild, scattered with abstract forms and juicy drips of paint. The artwork for this exhibit was encouraged and inspired by area scientists and engineers working in space exploration and atmospheric sciences, evoking themes that are both local and global.

NCAR's Mesa Lab's art galleries and science exhibits are open to the public weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and weekends/holidays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  There is no charge for admission. Please note the building will be closed for scheduled maintenance on Saturday, April 9th.
