Be a Confident Bike Commuter!

We’ve listened to you and are hosting two hands-on bike commuter workshops.

Mark your calendar for Thurs Oct 28th and Wed Nov 3 from 11:30 a.m.– 1:00 p.m, We’ll meet near the bike racks in front of FL2.

Thurs October 28th:  Flat tire?  No big deal!

A Community Cycles Bike Ambassador will teach us how to change that tire.  Bring your bike or borrow one of our Blue Bikes - take the tire off, change the tube and put it all back together.  You’ll feel like a pro in no time.

Wednesday, November 3rd:  Bike/Bus Commuting

Learn the ropes for combining your bike commute with the bus.  We’ll take an easy bike ride to a nearby bus stop and our Bike Ambassador will teach us how to load our bikes onto an RTD bus.  Hear the motor running and see the driver watching as you confidently load your bike onto the rack.  What if the rack is full?  We’ll learn what to do then too as well as tips on how to stow your bike on the regional buses

Bring your bike.  Bring your questions.  But RSVP soon as class size is limited to 12.  Please RSVP to Kay Gazaway, Sustainability Outreach Coordinator at

Will this event be webcast to the public by NCAR|UCAR?:
