Earth’s Defense from Solar Wind: Feedback Processes

The geospace is continuously impacted by the energy, momentum and mass carried by solar wind. The Earth’s defense from the impact is by feedback processes, such as energy dissipation and redistribution. We will briefly discuss processes of wave-particle interaction, auroral particle precipitation, and neutral composition changes in the geospace under various solar wind conditions.
