IMAGe Theme of the Year Workshop on Visualization of Climate Data

May 13-17, 2013 at NCAR

The workshop will enable participants to learn approaches to explore and visualize climate data sets, using R. It will consist of a mix of instruction and hands-on practice.

The workshop is targeted to first or second year graduate students in Statistics or Atmospheric Science, who are interested in honing their data analysis and computing skills for climate data.

Applications need to be submitted (and complete) by March 15, 2013.
