“NCAR Science Highlights - 2013”

On November 13, 2012 NCAR hosted a “Science Day” at NSF to highlight current research.  The purpose of this in-house series is to provide the same talks and posters to UCAR staff and visitors. An event calendar is below.  We hope that you are able to attend!

February 27, 12pm-2pm, CG1-Lobby: A poster session will be held in coordination with the UCAR Board of Trustees meeting.  This event will include a coffee and cake reception.  Our poster presenters are:

Katie Dickinson: “Cooking Up Clean Air: Demand for Improved Cookstoves and Implications for Air Quality and Health in Ghana”

Sara Hughes: “Linking Policy and Climate Science: Evaluating Climate Change Planning in Developing Cities”

Scott McIntosh: Eclipse Megamovie Project – Eclipse Coverage from OZ

Dave Gochis and Roy Rasmussen: “Water Cycle Research Across Scales”

Alex Guenther: “Understanding and Quantifying Bio-hydra-atmosphere interactions of Energy, Aerosol, Carbon, H2), Organics and Nitrogen: The BEACHON Project”
