'Tis the season for awards
At the all-staff holiday party, UCAR president Tom Bogdan announced winners of internal awards and saluted his predecessor with a special honor. Tom and fellow President's Council members also paid tribute to staff who had won major external awards in the last year.

Llbrary moves to online-only periodicals
Amid tight budgets and an evolving publication landscape, the NCAR Library has been reviewing its collection of journal subscriptions, moving to online-only access and eliminating titles with limited use. The changes will be effective January 1.
