As of September 30, 2012, the NCAR Library is discontinuing its subscription to RefWorks, a citation management tool.  In reviewing the current environment of citation management tools we have identified alternative options to better support your research and scholarship needs.

The library staff recommends the following three citation management tools (in no particular order). Each of these programs will allow you to upload your current citations, preserve them and much more. 

1. Mendeley
2. Zotero
3. MyEndNoteWeb

During this time of transition, the library staff is available to assist in transferring your citations to a new application.  Also refer to our website for additional recommendations and/or tutorials. If you have any questions, contact Matt Ramey or Ask a Librarian.
