For anyone who relies on CISL to monitor a server or service, the Cheyenne
Administration Support Group (CASG) at NWSC will assume 24x7 monitoring
responsibilities as of 00:00 on September 24, 2012. CASG based in Cheyenne is
taking over from the Mesa Lab-based Computer Production Group (CPG).
At that time, CASG will continue to support existing monitoring agreements and
notify customers about any events that currently require CPG to notify
customers. Any further interactions to resolve down or up events of
servers or services will also be initiated from NWSC by CASG.
Contacting the CASG group
As of 00:00 on September 24, CISL monitoring customers should call 307-996-4300
(or x4300 within UCAR) to reach CASG. If you happen to call the old number,
x1200, after that time, CPG staff will redirect you to CASG at NWSC.
