IT Storage: A Panel Discussion Tuesday, July 24 from 2:30-3:30

We will have a panel comprised of John Exby, Tim Fredrick, and Mark Moore - with Carter Borst as moderator - to
facilitate a discussion with the audience about storage at NCAR.
Possible topics for discussion:
- - file systems (examples are ext3, ext4, XFS, ZFS, etc.)
- - configuration (desktop, servers, clusters, HPC, etc.)
- - file size, type, throughput
- - hardware -- sas vs sata, raid, network
- - central divisional storage, dropbox, cloud
- - monitoring software
- - emerging technologies

discussion.
