A short time ago the NCAR Library conducted a survey for the UCAR/NCAR organization to solicit input to facilitate streamlining access to information; thus supporting scientific research and discovery. Based on the result of the survey and individual responses and testing scenarios we are releasing the first phase of the website redesign focusing on user-friendly experience and discovery of our resources and services.

Some of the improvements include:

• Easier ways to discover and explore the Library’s online resources
• Featured Library services to facilitate and support scientific research
• Introduction to scientific data management resources
• Improved access to OpenSky, featuring NCAR scholarship and Archives
