The North American Regional Climate Change Assessment Program will be conducting a half-day training course for new NARCCAP users.

The course will cover:

* downloading NARCCAP data from ESG (www.earthsystemgrid.org)
* available variables
* caveats and calendars
* getting netCDF into the format you need (e.g. ascii)
* using data tools (FAN, ncview, ncdump, etc)

This introductory course will be held on Thursday, April 12th from 9:30am - 12pm in the Main Seminar Room at the NCAR Mesa Lab. It will also be available via live webcast.

The course is geared toward users working on climate impacts, but all users that would like a hands-on introduction are welcome.
