This course covers extensive techniques, tips and shortcuts for using these powerful, but underutilized, Excel tools.
EXCEL 2010 FORMULAS & FUNCTIONS January 19, 2012 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm; CG2-CTTC Facilitator: New Horizons Instructor FORMULAS and FUNCTIONS are the most powerful and useful features of Excel. There are literally hundreds of different kinds of formulas and functions to use in Excel – this class will focus on some of the more cross-functional ones that can be used across all types of business to improve spreadsheet performance and business productivity.

DRUPAL FOR WEB DEVELOPERS January 31, 2012 9:00 am – 4:00 pm; CG2-CTTC Facilitator: Carl Wiedemann Learn to use the Drupal Content Managing System (CMS) to build dynamic, interactive websites. A CMS requires you to think differently about how you build a website. In this full-day class, participants will dive into the tools Drupal provides to web developers to build the design, structure, and functionality of a website as well as how it enables content creation for a broader variety of non-technical staff. Drupal is highly extensible via a vast offering of modules and participants will practice using some of the most useful ones on their own Drupal server, with hands-on experience creating content types, views, menus, blocks, sections, as well as customizing a theme. At the end of this class, participants will have the knowledge needed to begin building a vibrant, dynamic website in Drupal!
