Family, friends and colleagues are invited to the National Center for Atmospheric Research on December 2, 2011 for the Thomas T. Warner Memorial Symposium. The purpose of the Symposium is to pay tribute to the scientific career and to celebrate the rich life of Dr. Warner. The symposium will consist of invited oral presentations focused on topics related to the areas of atmospheric modeling that represent Dr. Warner's career, including desert meteorology, numerical weather and climate prediction, quality assurance in the atmospheric modeling process, and Tom’s extraordinary role as a mentor in the lives of his colleagues.

Contributions may be made to the Warner Visitor Scholarship to fund student visitor and outreach collaborations between PSU, CU, and NCAR. Details on the scholarship fund will be posted at the above web site and available at the Symposium.
