Experts from Washington, D.C., and Boulder will present new applications of weather technologies that promise to transform aspects of health care, energy, and transportation.
Panelists include: Betsy Weatherhead, atmospheric scientist at the University of Colorado’s Cooperative Institute for Research in the Environmental Sciences; Paul Pisano, Team Leader of the Road Weather Management Program in the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Office of Transportation Operations; Melinda Marquis, Renewable Energy Program Manager at the NOAA Earth System Research Laboratory (ESRL); and Wendy Marie Thomas, Policy Analyst with the American Meteorological Society Policy Program.
