The NCAR Community Art Program features digital photography by Richard Greening in Gallery I and oil paintings on canvas by Kevin Singleton in Gallery II at the Mesa Lab May 24 - July 25.
Richard Greening recently began incorporating a new aspect in his photography using a fisheye lens to present a different interpretation of everyday objects and scenes. A fisheye lens is an ultra wide angle lens that captures panoramic images that are spherical.
Kevin Singleton has endless inspiration to paint people of great character and scenes from the beautiful environment surrounding her. Creating artwork is a way of life that she enjoys very much.
NCAR/UCAR/UCP staff and the general public is invited to an artist reception on Saturday, June 18th, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the NCAR gallery.
NCAR's Mesa Laboratory art galleries and science exhibits are open to the public weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and weekends/holidays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
