Did you know......that you can place holds and renew items from the convenience of your computer? OpenCat now has added an individual account function which will enable you to log-in to your own account.
At your initial setup visit, the login function will require you to enter your six-digit UCAR employee number and "temp" as your password. We recommend that you promptly change your login from this UCAR number for security protection. This can easily be accomplished by contacting the library staff at Ask A Librarian and including your newly selected login within the message of the email. The library staff will make the appropriate change and inform you that it has been changed in your profile. Once that change has been made you may login with your updated login and the password "temp". You have the option to keep this password or change it by clicking on "change my password" tab in the lower left hand side of your account profile.
