There is still room to join the first of two hands-on bike commuter workshops tomorrow, Thursday, October 28th from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., near the bike racks at FL2.
Flat tire? No big deal!
A Community Cycles Bike Ambassador will teach us how to change that tire. Bring your bike or borrow one of our Blue Bikes - take the tire off, change the tube and put it all back together. You’ll feel like a pro in no time.
Then join us again on Wednesday, November 3rd from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. for:
Learn the ropes for combining your bike commute with the bus. We’ll take an easy bike ride to a nearby bus stop and our Bike Ambassador will teach us how to load our bikes onto an RTD bus. Hear the motor running and see the driver watching as you confidently load your bike onto the rack. What if the rack is full? We’ll learn what to do then too as well as tips on how to stow your bike on the regional buses.
Bring your bike. Bring your questions. But RSVP soon as class size is limited to 12. Please RSVP to Kay Gazaway, Sustainability Outreach Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
