Working with mixed media and collage, local artist Lisa Nesmith hopes that her artwork will "invite the view in slowly, to experience rather than analyze". References to time, place and memory occur frequently in her work, as she layers otherwise mundane images and symbols to create a sense of atmosphere and recollection. Running now through the end of September, the NCAR Library invites you to view Nesmith's work in the Foothills Library.
