My background
I was born and raised in Christchurch, New Zealand. In 2007 I joined UCAR Communications. I have worked as a journalist and in media relations and communications for the university, local government, and technology sectors. I have a bachelor’s degree in English literature and graduate diploma in journalism from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand and a post-graduate diploma in communication management from Massey University in New Zealand.
